One less gangster to worry about: Eran Hiya, the son of one of the key figures in Blood & Volume, is going to jail for 13 years.
*big sigh of relief*
Hiya's father, Eitan (whose last name is spelled Haya in U.S. court documents) served 12 years in a U.S. prison for crimes committed by the Israeli mafia in the late 1980's, including conspiracy in the 1990 murder of the gang's leader, Johnny Attias. Eitan Haya returned to Israel a few years ago and is believed to be active in the Tel Aviv underworld, as was his son before yesterday's sentencing.Labels: bloodandvolume
