Copeland's ARC: I met with my publicists this morning to go over the final details for the Blood & Volume marketing campaign and to see if there will be any traction on Ron Gonen getting thrown out of Witsec (damn you one last time, Anna Nichole Smith, for dying on the same day that Gonen gets thrown out and bumping us off of Page Six).
They had received the Advance Review Copies and brought one along for me. ARCs are the cheap, paperback versions that are sent out to reviewers and other people who may cover the book's release, and they also marked the first time I got to see B&V in something resembling book format. Not nearly as exciting as holding the actual book (and scheduling problems with the printer prevent me from knowing when I'll be able to do that for sure), but still kind of a cool moment as the writing process winds down and the publicity winds up:
